In Dublin, the capital of Ireland, there's a famous statue of Molly Malone. Molly Malone is a character from a traditional song. The song tells Molly's story. Molly is a girl who sells fresh seafood from a wheelbarrow in Dublin.
Later in the song, Molly dies of a fever. People miss her, but they think her ghost continues to walk in the streets of Dublin, crying Cockles and mussels, alive, alive, oh!
The song is one of the most famous and popular songs in Ireland. Almost everyone can sing it.
