HALLOWEEN 2021

 Happy Halloween!!!

Esta semana, nas clases de inglés, tivemos moitas actividades especiais para celebrar a festividade de Halloween. Aquí tedes unhas imaxes!

• Infantil

A nosa auxiliar de conversa Chloe leunos unha historia moi divertida, Little Monster and the Spooky Party, que trata acerca dun pequeno monstro que vai a unha festa, e despois tivemos tempo para cantar e bailar cancións de Halloween en inglés.

• 1º e 2º de primaria

Nós puidemos desfrutar doutra divertida historia, Meg and Mog, e despois debuxamos aos personaxes do conto seguindo as atentas indicacións da nosa auxiliar Chloe.

• 3º e 4º de primaria

Neste caso Chloe leunos a fermosa historia Room on the Broom, de Julia Donaldson. A continuación, os alumnos e alumnas de 3º puidemos desfrutar dunha curtametraxe en inglés baseada no conto, mentres que o alumnado de 4º inventamos e debuxamos as nosas propias pocións.

• 5º e 6º de primaria

No caso de 5º e 6º, a nosa auxiliar Chloe preparounos unha presentación sobre Halloween nos Estados Unidos que foi moi interesante. Despois practicamos o noso inglés xogando a un xogo en equipos no cal tiñamos que dar pistas aos nosos compañeiros e compañeiras para que adiviñasen distintas palabras relacionadas con Halloween.

HALLOWEEN 2020

Este ano no cole tocounos vivir un Halloween un pouco distinto. Non puidemos festexalo todos xuntos coma outros anos, mais iso non significa que non puideramos divertirnos. Nas clases de inglés escoitamos cancións divertidas, historias de Halloween e aprendimos moito vocabulario sobre esta festividade. Nas clases de Arts and Crafts fixemos manualidades e debuxos sobre bruxas, arañas, morcegos e outras moitas cousas terroríficas. Aquí tedes algunhas imaxes sobre os nosos traballos:

Halloween 2019

Last week we celebrated Halloween and Samaín at school. We had lots of fun activities in our Arts and Crafts and English lessons, and on Wednesday we had special workshops and activities.

Our kindergarten students had a Halloween cooking workshop. They made delicious Halloween cookies.

The 1st and 2nd graders listened to a fantastic story, Meg and Mog, and after that they played a game and drew a picture about the story.

The 3rd and 4th graders read the story Room on the Broom and watched the film based on the book.

Finally, the 5th and 6th graders participated in a Halloween Treasure Hunt. They worked in teams to find all the clues and get a special prize.

HALLOWEEN IN OUR SCHOOL

Happy Halloween from students and teachers!!!!!! 
Last week we celebrated Halloween, a tradition that originated from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. The children celebrated by dressing up in their scariest costumes- witches, ghosts and vampires!

During the previous days we learnt about how people celebrate Halloween in the USA. Our language assistant Heather showed us some pictures and some videos about it. 

Our students and families carved scary pumpkins to decorate the school. They were amazing!

On October 31 our youngest students went to the library and there they listened to scary stories and danced with some Halloween songs. It was really fun!
