BOOK DAY ACTIVITIES 2022
This week we celebrated Book Day at school. Book Day is celebrated every year on 23 April. For that reason, we had lots of special activities:
- MONKEY PUZZLE, by Julia Donaldson
After that, they did some fun activities to practise the vocabulary of the story. Here you have some photos:
- GIRAFFES CAN'T DANCE, by Giles Andrea
Our language assistant Chloe read the beautiful story Giraffes can't dance to the 3rd and 4th graders. They loved the story. They also watched the animated version of the book, and after that, 4th graders drew a giraffe and 3rd graders completed and coloured a picture of Gerald the giraffe.
Here you have some photos of the activities:
- THE WITCHES, by Roald Dahl
5th and 6th graders learned about a fantastic writer, Roald Dahl. Here you have a video with information about him.
Our language assistant Chloe did a presentation about some of Roald Dahl's most famous books, and then they watched a film based on one of them, The Witches. It was great!
