St Patrick's Day 2023

Every year, on March 17, Irish people around the world celebrate St. Patrick's Day. These are some of the activities we did at the school to commemorate this day.

• Presentations about Ireland and how Irish people celebrate St. Patrick's Day:

• Our youngest students read the story Pete the Cat: Chase the Leprechaun. They also completed a shamrock with pictures of things that make them feel lucky.

• The 5th graders made a poster full of shamrocks. In each shamrock they had to write some reasons why they are lucky.

This year the students in grades 3 and 4 prepared two wonderful bulletin boards with all their wishes to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Here you have some pictures:

The students in grade 6 used some shamrocks to write why they are lucky. Some of the reasons they gave were that they are lucky because they have caring families, they are healthy or they can go to school. Here you have some pictures:
